Here is my contribution to the 2011 Shad Festival Poster Auction. It’s titled, “It is Against the Law for a Man to Knit During Fishing Season” and is made of thread, cardboard, plaster, and epoxy.

All of the posters will be on display from 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 29 at an artists reception at the First Presbyterian Church gym, 31 N. Union St. The exhibit continues during Shad Festival weekend: April 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 1, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bidders may register that weekend through Sunday at 2 p.m. To place an absentee or arrange a phone bid contract, call the festival sponsoring Lambertville Area Chamber of Commerce at 609-397-0055. Proceeds, as always, benefit scholarships for arts students from the South Hunterdon and New Hope-Solebury areas.
